Camping with Allergies

Camping is an amazing way to connect with nature and create memories that will last a lifetime. However, for those with food allergies, it can be a challenging and sometimes even dangerous experience. In this blog post, we will explore the difficulties of camping with food allergies.

On a recent campout we ate very well. We decided to make jambalaya and apple crisp for dinner, and oatmeal for breakfast. When we camp we prep all the ingredients ahead of time, this helps reduce the time for cooking and also takes care of some common issues that face allergy sufferers.
